Vermentino di Sardegna Doc<\/strong><\/p>

Boese is a Vermentino who draws inspiration from his toponym Vigna Truvaoese. A wine obtained from the grapes harvested in the historic family vineyard that Annalisa Cherchi inherited from her father Giovanni.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>

Oxen have characterised rural agricultural activity for centuries. Already in ancient Rome, the soil was measured according to the amount of soil ploughed in a day by a pair of oxen. \u201cTruvare sos boese\u201d means encouraging them to plough.<\/p>

Hence the name \u201cVigna Truvaoese\u201d: the vineyard ploughed by oxen.<\/p>

Soil type<\/strong>: Hilly terrain at 180m. good calcareous structure associated with clayey fractions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Exposure<\/strong>: South- South East\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Climate<\/strong>: Mediterranean with good temperature ranges. The short distance from the sea favours the presence of breezes that contribute to making the microclimate optimal for the quality of the grapes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Training system<\/strong>: The training system is counter- espalier pruning Guyot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Harvest<\/strong>: The grapes are harvested by hand, generally in the first ten days of September.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Vinification<\/strong>: After careful selection, the grapes are first destemmed then sent to soft pressing. The fermentation of the must takes place in steel tanks at low temperatures, where the wine then continues its aging \u201con the lees\u201d.<\/span><\/p>

Organoleptic Characteristics<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Bright straw yellow with fruity and floral aromas of appreciable cleanliness and simplicity. Notes of acacia, citrus fruits and a slight mineral hint.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
